Elopement at Pot Point Park, Chattanooga Tennessee

Eunice and Dan’s Witchy Elopement at Pot Point Trail in Chattanooga, TN

As a Chattanooga wedding videographer, I get to capture love stories that are as unique as the couples themselves—and Eunice and Dan’s November elopement at Pot Point Trail was one of the most unforgettable. With a spooky, witchy aesthetic, their loyal Doberman by their side, and twenty of their closest friends gathered in the Tennessee woods, this celebration was intimate, creative, and deeply personal.

Pot Point Trail is one of Chattanooga’s hidden gems. Nestled in the Tennessee River Gorge, it offers winding forest trails, mossy rocks, and sweeping river views—making it the perfect location for an adventurous elopement. In mid-November, the crisp air, fallen leaves, and tree cover creates a hauntingly beautiful backdrop that matched Ness & Dan’s vibe perfectly.

Tattoo artists and expert dog trainers, Ness & Dan are creative souls who live life with intention. Their ceremony felt more like a sacred ritual than a traditional wedding—their knot tying ceremony especially moving all while their guests formed a circle of love and support around them. Their Doberman stood proudly at their side, a reminder that family comes in many forms.

After the ceremony, we slipped away for portraits with Our Ampersand Photography, one of Chattanooga’s most talented wedding photographers. The golden November light filtered through the trees creating a cinematic, gothic atmosphere that felt straight out of a storybook. The footage we captured together was moody, tender, and magical.

Instead of a traditional reception, Eunice and Dan hosted a cozy gathering at a cluster of adorable AIRBNB cottages down the road from Pot Point Trail. Guests enjoyed drinks, hearty food, and the kind of conversation that lingers well past sunset. It was the perfect reflection of their love—intimate, soulful, and beautifully unconventional.

As a Chattanooga videographer, documenting weddings like Ness & Dan’s reminds me why I do what I do. Elopements allow couples to strip away the pressure of tradition and instead create a day that’s meaningful, intentional, and entirely theirs.

If you’re planning an elopement in Chattanooga—whether at Pot Point Trail, Snooper’s Rock, or any of the incredible trails and overlooks in the Tennessee River Gorge—and you’re searching for a wedding videographer who can capture your story with authenticity and artistry, I’d love to connect.
